Life-transformation goals for the people we serve are still in place at our New Life Inn and McDuff locations during this COVID-19 pandemic. We are elevating the immediate goals of (1) saving lives and (2) working to protect the medical system daily.
As the curve starts to flatten in many places —thanks in large part to all who have stayed at home—homeless services providers can expect extra scrutiny as more attention turns to the condition and care of those who are generally forgotten in our society.
Our local authorities have the say on how things should be handled here in Jacksonville. We will continue, as we have been, to work with them—and with the local departments of health—to do everything we can to save lives and protect the medical system. Thank you for your prayers and concern as City Rescue Mission continues to screen, assess, and take care of the folks we have been called to serve.
Desperate times calls for inspired measures.
You can help! Our program and services to provide meals and shelter, addiction recovery, workforce development and fresh starts are transforming lives right here on the First Coast. We can do more, with your help.

A record of your gifts will be included in your bank or credit card statement. If there is an error, you are responsible for notifying City Rescue Mission. We will correct it as soon as possible. Also, if there is an error, you have the right to tell your bank to reverse any transfer. This must be done in writing to your bank within 15 days of the date on the bank statement, or within 45 days after the transfer was made.
