Hundreds of homeless and needy come to the New Life Inn each day for food and shelter. The Community Closet is also housed at the New Life Inn and provides clothing to those in need.
The face of homelessness continues to change and numbers have increased in Jacksonville 33% in the last year alone. Today’s economy has produced an expanded profile of those seeking services including those who have lost everything; home, car and job; those suffering from drug and alcohol addiction and those who are lost in despair and hopelessness.
